So I am getting used to the new GT2. Quite a change from a NightHawk Pro 200 that I upgraded to F3/DYS XM20A/2206-2380kv.
NH200 fast too, but much heavier, so ultimately not as fast as the GT2 because you are basically constantly accelerating when racing or freestyle.
The NH200 maintains speed better, but the GT2 has higher top speed and accelerates faster, lighter weight means less battery to stay in the air. It makes the NH200 feel clunky and sluggish.
I still have not tuned the GT2 PIDs, have not felt the need because it flies so smooth and fast, have not touched rates either. (+1 betaflight from a cleanflight user)
I really like 5045x3 or better on the GT2, have a feeling PIDs are tuned for them. While the 5040s are smoother, they just feel mushy, inefficient, and loose in the corners. (or maybe it's just my skills improving along with my perception because of how good the GT2 handles...)
