WITSUP caught up with runner up at the Ironman World Championships, Rachel Joyce, the morning after the race the rocketed her into the history books as only the fourth woman ever to go under the nine hours on the island, joining Paula Newby Fraser, Chrissie Wellington and this year's winner, Mirinda Carfrae.
After a year of frustrating illnesses and injuries not allowing Joyce to toe the line at many races, she certainly enjoyed her time back on the race track.
