I have just flashed Xracer V2.1 with 2.9.1 through the betaflight GUI: I started with xrotor 40a (recommended for Ubad 30a) 14.6 multishot "crazy" and had this problem that is in this video. Because in crazy wasn't obvious in the calibration process (just kept on making the same noise throughout calbration) I changed it to the same version of multishot but just changed to the "quick startup" where calibration noise is easily identified. I did this just to eliminate it being a calibration issue.
I did not have this issue in betaflight 2.7.1. Also, random ticking noises are also heard when motors are at idle speed (min throttle 1065). I'm picking it may be a filtering issue? No to savvy as to cause and effect through filtering at the moment as I have only been using Betaflight/Cleanflight for 3 months. Converted CC3D/OPENPILOT user. Something else to note is that I have tried all variations of "PID Math" and "Derivative Method" to rule that out and the motor behaviours behave the same as the video.
