Please note a couple of things that happen during this video. When you are resetting the PCB ****BE CAREFUL WITH METAL OBJECT AROUND THIS*** you could easily destroy your HMD. I'm not responsible for anything that happens, I'm just trying to help.
Also know that this may or may not work. If you are unable to get this working with USB 3.0 try hooking it up to a USB 2.0 port instead. This may help resolve it. If not then it's possible something further may be going on with your HMD then what it looks like. Enjoy! If you are able to save the corrupted firmware Hex file, please open a support ticket with Razer and upload the Hex Dump file to them. This will greatly benefit the community.
One more thing, when you are putting the front panel back on the device. Squeeze the belt cable leading to the IR array gently to ensure that it is together. If it comes loose by any chance it could cause the IR array to stop working. You can verify that the array is working once power is restored to the IR array by using a Web Cam, the camera on your phone, or by making the room pitch dark to see them light up, it's actually really cool. :D
I know this isn't exactly a raiding party type of video but I had recently purchased a Razer OSVR. I love this thing, but after four days I bricked it while setting up the SteamVR Plugin. This is an instructional video on how you unbrick your OSVR. I want to apologize for some of the audio level differences. This was a tutorial that I wanted done inside of a few hours. I didn't want to spend more time in editing because i know that everbodies having issues so I just wanted to get it up to everybody as quick as possible.
This was my first time Unbricking my OSVR as is probably the same as most of you as well. This video is VERY raw, in saying this I mean raw as in I recorded this video while I unbricked mine for the first time. I reeeeeeaaaaaallllllllyyyyyy hope that this helps alot of the OSVR Comunnity.
