Scratch Built R/C American Bald Eagle! Maiden Flight August 3, 2013.
This absolute gorgeous RC Eagle was scratch built and painted by our
good friend "LIP-O" Phil. He has made a few birds in the past several
months for friends (And this one now belongs to our Main Man, COWBOY KENNY), but, wow, way to STEP up your game Phil! Adding Retractable Legs with
Claws!!!
This Beauty sports a 55inch wingspan, has Warparons, V-tail, Folding Prop,
and runs off a 3cell 1300mah to 1800mah lipo battery.
While a little unsteady in any kind of wind, as you can see in the video,
I was easily able to compensate for the wing rock in the wind. I truly enjoyed having the privilege and honor to give this bird, it's Maiden Flight!
