LD is an experienced pilot who tempted fate today by saying to me "I haven't crashed an RC plane yet".
Obviously the RC gods heard this and thought it was some sort of request. So now LD is even more experienced than before.
Total damage....
1 very small piece snapped off a wing tip.
1 broken prop.
1 broken motor mount & cowling.
Sorry about not getting good footage of the damage. Without a viewfinder or screen on the GoPro I was just "shooting from the hip" as it were.
I'm sure the magpie is now considered "badass" by his magpie mates.
