My first scratch built foam and balsa plane built to James Mann's "Minimus" plans. I have not flown it yet. It has been too windy and this is a very light plane. I have not been too successful flying anything but a Hobbyzone Champ.
Fuselage is 3/8" balsa and the wing, rudder and elevator are 6mm foam. Rudder and elevator are covered with colored packing tape and have tapered control surfaces as shown on Experimental Airlines videos. Control horns made from cut gift cards. Wires are tied back with waxed twine.
