Finally able to hit most of the hills...most of them anyways...
Lost one of the mirrors during this video. I may pick up some flexible ones.Having hard bodies on a crawler is a really different experience. Kinda afraid to just ram up against the rocks like you can with a lexan body. I'm sure I'll get used to it...
RC4WD Trail Stomper with a few modifications...
-1.9 Ripsaw tires (the stock mud slingers are nice but i threw these on to help out a bit with the stiff suspension)
- Axial dual rate shocks with super soft springs (stock shocks way to stiff)
- super soft leaf springs from RC4WD (made a world of difference)
- and of course, the Mojave body set with the mounting kit for the Trail Stomper
Leaf springs are new to me, but so far I'm enjoying them. Not as much articulation as i would have hoped (comparing to an SCX10 that is...) but it seems to work good for where i want to go!
