In this long demo, Tom, along with the help of Adam, describes in detail the team's brand new remote control sailboat with auto/manual canting keel mechanism. All design, manufacturing and testing of the sailboat's original components were done by the team.
Our boat's key features include:
-Fiberglass planing type hull
-Automatic and manual canting keel functionality
-High aspect ratio rig with square top main sail
-Flexible tapered mast
-Adjustable centerboard height
-Arduino with accelerometer to control the auto-keel (with our very own program written in-house!)
