PART 2 - (Feature:) 18 Trucks Test Their Might at RC Topia | Alder Run
---
After the Rock Pile. After the Alder Run. After the bridge crossings and campfire stories, there was one final adventure waiting. I gathered everyone together and led eighteen trucks out deeper into RC Topia and our exclusive back woods trails. Although I could only take them on a fraction of what's available.. I watched the smiles creep across everyone's faces as we lined the trucks up.
We followed the creek through the forest, winding our way over rocks, through water crossings, and along trails that disappear beneath the trees. Looking back over my shoulder, I couldn't help but laugh. It looked like a line of ants stretching through the woods, each truck faithfully following the one ahead of it.
Trying to lead a trail ride for eighteen trucks while filming a video isn't easy. Truthfully, many of these guys were still strangers to me, and I was still getting to know them. Sticking a camera in everyone's face all day didn't feel right. Instead, I focused on what brought us together in the first place: the trucks, the trails, and the adventure.
Even Jem joined us for the ride.
When we finally returned to the RC Topia muster point, nobody seemed ready for the day to end.
Then came a request that made me smile:
"Can we see Optimus?"
Out rolled the one and only Optimus Overkill 6x6x6.
For years, people around the world have built their own versions after seeing it on RCSparks Studio. Watching everyone gather around it, taking photos and studying the details, reminded me just how many adventures that truck has been part of over the years.
Eventually the batteries ran low, trucks were packed away, hands were shaken, and goodbyes were exchanged.
But somewhere along the way, new friendships had been made.
When I first started building RC Topia, I imagined trails, bridges, obstacles, and adventures. What I didn't fully appreciate was what would happen when people finally arrived.
Seeing eighteen trucks moving through the woods was incredible.
Seeing eighteen smiling faces was even better.

I can't guarantee access, dates, or availability, but you're always welcome to say hello and ask. If the timing works out, maybe we'll hit the trails together someday.
Thanks for watching.
