ABOUT THIS VIDEO
My wee sister, Jacqui, has had this little Volantex Tumbler RTR mini racing boat sitting at home, unopened, for well over a year! We thought it was about time to test the little thing out, at a local pond.
With a retail price of only-just over £35, we weren't really sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised!... you know, despite the initial hiccups... ahem...
It's a cheap, fast, waterproof, invertible, RTR racing boat... WHICH YOU CAN LOB INTO THE WATER, LIKE A BRICK!! What's not to like?
In other news, we have FINALLY gotten-round to replacing the old camera with a GoPro Hero 4 Silver, which I've wanted to do, for a while. No more poor visual quality!!
This video also acted as a test-bed, as we didn't know how good the audio would be (actually, I'm not sure why I asked you -the YouTube viewers- if the sound was OK, because I was clearly going to get my answer, during editing! Good one, Mike!).
As it transpires, the audio quality isn't brilliant, it doesn't pick-up voices -at distance- very well and the case makes REALLY IRRITATING squeaks, rattles and creaks (sorry about that), so we are DEFINITELY getting another external mic!
Anyway, it was good to be back recording again and I'm sorry it took so long.
