Before Trying this try soft reboot "::alternative way::"
Very simple steps are :
1)Press power key , when NOKIA screen appears , keep pressing "VOLUME DOWN " key .
you will get Exclamation mark "!" on the start screen .
2) Press Volume up - Volume down - Power key - Volume down .
This will reset your lumia device .
This worked with Few devices hope this works for you too .
