Happy 75th anniversary to Captain America's greatest villain the Red Skull. Red Skull first appeared in Captain America Comics issue 7 in 1941. Johann Schmidt was a poor orphan, working as a bag handler in a German hotel when Adolf Hitler first encountered him. Hitler saw an evil in the boy's eyes an made him his apprentice. Johann Schmidt quickly rose through the Nazi ranks an became the Red Skull. The Red Skull would go on to found an advanced science branch of the Nazi party known as Hydra. Hail Skull! Hail Hydra!
