What was once a place of high order excitement and vigor has been reduced to a dilapidated mess of grand proportions. The Pontiac Silverdome was home to some of Michigan's biggest entertainment events from Elvis and Michael Jackson, to Superbowl XVI and Wrestlemania. Today, the thunderous cheers of irrepressible fans only echo as a memory, and little time is left before this piece of history fades for good.
Join us as we explore the modern ruins of the once roaring Silverdome, quietly empty until it's final days...
P.S. This was one of the film locations for Transformers The Last Knight!

The Urban Explorers is a series documenting our exploration of abandoned sites that we happen across or discover through ('extensive') research. As per general rule of urbex thumb, we do not tamper with nor obstruct the sites in any significant way, and will not reveal the exact location of these places to protect them from those that will. As such we also do not condone any type of vandalism, thievery or breaking of the law. If you choose to find these places on your own, we are not responsible for any hazards or accidents that may occur, so please be smart about it.
Basically don't be stupid.
