Adventure games have found quality footing on iOS, and Republique is the latest to join the touch platform. It's styled after a point and click adventure with one touch stealth action included, as well as puzzle sequences. There's an intriguing storyline that fits into a world where there's constant government surveillance everywhere, in an oppressive totalitarian state. You're able to hack into the surveillance system to help a character known as Hope escape from her oppressors. The game relies on a constant switching from surveillance camera to real world view, so you can see what's up ahead, and then lead Hope through any challenges that you foresee. It's a five episode adventure, akin to TellTale's games, and episode one is now available.
