The RICE project aspires to provide a full range of research activities from the stages of theoretical research and modelling to the production of sample or prototype product and its testing. Commercialisation of the research outputs is considered essential for the project success. Co-operation between the academic and industry partners should ensure due support to challenging research projects, timely application of new technologies and delivery of the research results in the form of product prototypes to manufacturing companies that would eventually bring the new products to the market.
