We have seen multiple videos , claiming that BMCC is a bad combination with Ronin M & Ronin MX.
Since we are passionate LOVERS of the Blackmagic corporation , we have decided to look into this particular matter/problem.
- Orfeas Kalafatis , one of the most professional & trustwothy partners of Hollywood-Wedding-Films.com , and CEO of CineDRONES Corp. has resolved the balancing issue by simply raising the central point (center) of gravity of the camera itself.
This was achieved by avoiding the luxury of using Ronin's D-TAP connection , for powering up the BMCC ....... Instead he used a big NP-F970 battery , with an NP-F battery adapter , screwed on the top of BMCC.
Battery Mount Plate Adapter for NP-F battery = http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMD-BMCC-BMPCC-Camera-Mount-Plate-Power-Adapter-For-Sony-NP-F970-F975-Battery-/121675768369?hash=item1c5470e231:g:Hl4AAOSw5cNYNbZM
Providing constant power to BMCC for about 3-5 hours , depending on the use.
This task was completed within a matter of 15minutes.
The result is 99% perfect in balance.
The rest 1% can be perfected with micro-Adjustements through the RoninMX software.
PS.
Try using a big/heavy lens , so that the camera is be placed as back as possible. If you wanna use a light lens , then just screw some counter weights underneath your lens , under your camera's plate....
There are threads on the CineMilled dovetail , made especially for placing counter weights.

(In this example , we have used a ZEISS 15/F2.8 and absolutely NO counterweights)
