Measurements and methods
To Make 1/2 kg Laddu
Around 12 to 15 Pieces.
Gram flour - 100 gm (1 cup)
Sugar - 200 gm (1 cup)
Water - 100 ml (1/2 cup)
Use same cup to measure
Rice flour - 1 tsp
Cooking soda - 1 pinch
Oil to fry
Cashew, dry grapes, cardamon powder. Ghee - 2 tbs.
Mix sugar, water and boil. Make one string consistency. Keep aside. Mix Gram flour, rice flour, cooking soda. Add water, mix like a Dosa batter.
Make boondi as shown in the video. Don't cook Crispy. It should be soft 80 % cooked. Take out, put in sugar syrup. After 3,4 minute take out and put in a deep bowl. Do the same in batches. Fry Cashew, dry grapes in the same oil, add it. Add cardamom powder, ghee, mix all together. Press it tight. Close with lid. Keep a weight over it and leave for 45 minutes.
Now open, make as Laddus.
