This video shows an analog experiment where the development of an orogenic wedge is simulated in a sandbox. This experiment includes erosion to the wedge (accomplished by vacuuming the top of the wedge). This video is the refined version of the Geology 201 Sandbox experiment from the Fall 2011 class. In this version (11b) there are a few small changes from the previous version (11A).
