A quick motor comparison of 3 different motors which i had/have in use. All 3 motors are out of the box, so brand new.
Maybe it is not fair to compare the 2204 with 2205 sized motors but i wanted to see how big the differences are. I assumed that the 2205 will perform better and can handle the 6045 prop with no problem.
Few words about the motors:
SunnySky X2204: Excellent motors! But watch out, there are many fake motors out there!
T-Motor MN2204: Very good motors with great quality.
Scorpion M-2205 2350kv - Stealth Edition: Excellent motors with amazing quality and performance.
Result:
I personally would not use 2204 motors with 4S batteries and 6045 props. They are getting very hot. The T-Motor had after 3 short runs 65.4°C! SunnySky performs better if you are lucky and get the original motors instead of fakes!
My new and favorite motors are the Scorpion Motors! Great performance, light, balanced and beautiful! I will run it on my new 4S Setup.
