3 short evening sessions and one full day fishing for salmon on the Inver in West Sutherland. I had 7 fish on and landed 5, also had a good few brown trout, one of which was pushing 2lb, but my phone was in the car so couldn't get a pic! The river was just dropping back after a big spate, with all the fish taken on a full floater (Rio Scandi with no tips) with a silver stoat tied on a size 9 partridge salar hook; apart from 2 fish (including the one I lost in the video) which took my own pattern (a willie gunn with a monkey style wing and cascade hackle) fished on a 3D Rio Scandi line: float/hover/Int. All using maxima ultragreen: 15lb, and 12lb when the water dropped off a bit. Don't knock it ;-)
