Floatplanes and Searey flying boats splashed-in at the Taj Mahouse in Shangri-La-di-da on the James River, east of Hopewell, Virginia, for a day of fellowship, food, and flying fun.
The Seareys taxied up across the beach and onto the lawn; the floatplanes tailed-in on the beach. Later there were formation flights, passenger rides, and fly-bys. Several cameras and a drone captured it all.
(Sorry, some of the clips at first are from my CapCam and a bit jerky; but after other cameras arrived it all smooths out considerably.)
The bits of background music are by Lightning Hopkins, from an old LP that I own and treasure. Most are from his "Coffee House Blues" track.
