In this video, we walk through the different methods you can use to connect to your server.
Overview: To connect to your SoftLayer server securely, you have a few options. We will review how to connect over RDP for Windows and our management network via KVM/IPs for both bare metal and virtual servers. You can find the public and private IPs on the Devices list under the Devices tab. Remember, the KVM console is accessed through the Customer Portal when a VPN connection has been established. The web-based console is a Java applet that allows authorized users to connect to the device through the browser.
