Is it Sales? Is it Engineering? Why do so many companies get this so very wrong? From the beginning we've had a hard time with companies standardizing on the job title's meaning, and unfortunately many companies are still struggling.
I also touch on what makes a good Sales Engineer, for those who think a career in Sales Engineering might be with interesting.
Finally, I am doing this on dry-board/dry-erase because it most closely simulates how I work with people in a session. I did not want to kill you with PowerPoint, but allow the freeflow of markers that makes presentations so dynamic. To that end, I'm still working the kinks out-especially where the edges are! So you may see on these early videos text I'm talking about slightly out of frame. I am not a movie actor, but I am a movie producer. My style when live is to move about the room and elicit input to the media from all participants. That isn't possible here, and many of my recent engagements have been classified, so I wouldn't have been allowed to video them, anyway.
Please try to understand this for the first few videos. :)
