The worst storm to hit the San Francisco Bay Area made its presence felt harshly and very early.
The marina area in Pacifica was nearly deserted as the ocean lashed out with angry and violent waves.
Heavy rain pelted the area and visibility was very poor on the road.
Forecasters warned of high winds, hazardous seas, and gale which may last until Friday. They also warned residents of possible flash floods.
