I made my first CNC carve project with an Ohio State Buckeyes Block O, using Carbide Create and Carbide 3D on the Shapeoko 3. I first tried a different software path and had to understand that better before I went straight to Carbide Create, which is very user friendly software. The Shapeoko 3 has got to be one of the best hobby CNC packages you can buy for ~$1000.
