Video that shows the final result of my MSc Thesis for the Erasmus Mundus in Computer Vision and Robotics Master (VIBOT 5).
The goal of the project was to show the efficiency of the Kinect with the combination of basic developed descriptors and classifiers to solve the problem of gesture recognition without scarifying the accuracy of the system compared with other similar projects. A 14 signs home made dictionary was defined, were the signs are matched with basic words such the one shown in the video that can make possible the communication between an ordinary and a deaf user.
