Having trouble with drumsticks slipping out of your hands? Holding too far down on the sticks? Need more reach around the kit? Check out this review of 5 pairs of longer drum sticks!
For this test/review, I purchased 5 pairs of extra long drumsticks to help alleviate my problem with holding too far down on the sticks and with sticks not feeling long enough. The sticks I review in this video are the following, ranked from first to last shown and worst to best (in my opinion):
Promark TX2SW
Vater Nightstick
Vic Firth Extreme 5b
Vic Firth Extreme 5b Vic Grip
Vic Firth Signature Danny Carey
I played all of the sticks on and off for about one week before making this video. This test/review was done in order to help solve my personal problems with sticks I had been using earlier. No brand bias was intented - I was open to playing any brand after this test/review. However, Vic Firth simply dominated in my honest opinion.

I proudly endorse King Drums, Drumtacs and Sound & Communication in-ear monitors. I also love and support Meinl cymbals, Evans drumheads, Vic Firth sticks and Gibraltar Hardware.
This video was produced before my endorsements with Drumtacs and King Drums.
