SkyVue TV on moveable ceiling track mount with lake view.
EDIT since I uploaded this video. The TV is mounted on a standard ceiling mount. I have a swivel adaptor and a cathedral ceiling adapter to allow the center of gravity to balance.
The ceiling mount is simply attached to a treated piece of lumber which is then attached to 4 wheels on a sliding barn door track. You can get the wheels and barn door track at tractor supply but I found some that were powder coated online.
I have an extension cord and HDMI cable running from the TV to the ceiling where they then combine into flex tubing that is coiled around a very tight clothes line wire. When the TV slides on the track it pulls the cable with it.
If I could do it all over again...I would probably not get SKYvue. They are very expensive and heavy and I do worry that it could break someday. I would probably get some kind of outdoor TV enclosure....there are many companies now that I dont think existed before. AN enclosure doesn't really break and if the TV fails it is much cheaper than a Skyvue or sunbrite.
