A while ago I put together the Skywalker Falcon, an older model 1340mm EPO flying wing. I chose the Falcon for several reasons, such as its large battery bay, good overall size, and its ability to mount a low kv motor swinging a ridiculously large propeller, but mainly for its extremely low price point of $40.
Currently I have the plane setup with:
Emax GT 2215/12 with a 11*5 Areonaut folding propeller.
This motor/prop combo produces just over 1000g of thrust for only 11-12amps at full throttle. Combined with a 3S 4000mah it easily exceeds 25min flight times and when really milking it can be pushed close to 35min.
Besides the magical motor/prop combo I am using a turnigy 30A plush esc, a foxeer tm25 set to 600mw with an immersion spironet antenna, an frsky l9r as rx, some 9g servos, and a foxeer arrow v3 for the fpv camera.
