Santander It is located on the Basque Gulf, the capital of the Cantabria region of northern Spain. You will find here over 70 beautiful beaches and 6,500 caves. Santander should associate not only with the bank, but also with a very beautiful city, where we will find a great number of great pubs, bars and restaurants. What first caught my eye - just after the arrival - is omnipresent green! It's so incredibly green here, and it's Spain. Santander since the 19th century, is a favorite place of rest madrilenos (inhabitants of Madrid). Today Santander values peace, cleanliness and a neat combination of history and modernity. We will not find here crowds of shouting tourists or crowded beaches.
