Daily near infrared sauna therapy broadcasts frequencies between 550-1800 for excellent photo therapy, however, some of those frequencies are said to be damaging to the eyes. According to ANSI and the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) near infrared rays between 700-1400 cause permanent damage to your eyes that lead to impaired vision or blindness.
