[UPDATE] Sadly Sears Galewood closed in September 2017.
(3/31/17) This is a Store Tour of Sears at Harlem and North in Galewood, Chicago IL.
This Store opened sometime in the 1940's, and was built to serve the west side of Chicago, Oak Park, and Elmwood Park. Currently Seritage is trying to market the property, and the store is kind of in a waiting game for now, similar to what happened at the one in Crystal Lake IL. The store is a prime example of a Sears built in the 1940's and is one of two historic Sears left in Chicagoland, the other one being Six Corners. Also the same thing happened when I forgot to hit reccord during my drive around, so If you want to see the cool looking outside click here: https://www.google.com/maps/@41.9088558,-87.8054608,3a,75y,358.48h,92.48t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s7ligf9HJhC2OVG2e0-QEwg!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo0.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3D7ligf9HJhC2OVG2e0-QEwg%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D24.290453%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en
