Stefano Noferini works out the bizness on this second comp for
King Street's dirty sister, Street King. 2010 has certainly been an
amazing year for this man, who completely deserves to be
relishing the fruits of his labor. Touring to massive, white hot club
spots like Space, Miami, Warehouse in Tokyo, Privilege in
Ibiza, Ministry of Sound (London) and many other major cities
in between, his trips have only been complimented by his
productions and remixes that truly kick sonic ass. He was
nominated as one of the "Breakout Stars of WMC 2010" so it
comes as no surprise that his original productions regularly chart
on their House and Tech House Charts. His latest mixed comp is
the aforementioned Street King Vol 2, following the first mixed by
fellow Italian countryman, Alex Kenji. Stefano dips into the deep
and dark end of this uncommon progressive Dance pool, selecting
pumpin tracks from the catalog like Aki Bergen Dub‐O‐Matic Mix
of jOHNNYDANGEROUs' "Clear My Mind" and Cevin Fisher's
"The Power," then resurfacing with the Kruse & Nuernberg
unreleased Dub of Dennis Ferrer's "Dem People Go and Jim
Rivers Instrumental of Tomoki & Nono's slammin' "Park In The
Morning." He also includes some of his own remixed works like DJ
Roland Clark presents Urban Soul feat. Shawnee Taylor's "Got
To Believe" Jamico feat Jackie Cohen's "This Luv Is Real" and even
some of his own originals like "Biosphere" by Noferini & Marini,
and "Bonkee," with many others of noticeably varying energies
throughout. The mix stays on top form and will have you listening
more than once.
