When I woke up it was -10 degrees Fahrenheit outside but I decided to drive 4 hours South to fish a power plant lake with Brian of Kansas Angling Experience! We met up with Jack from Michigan and it was the coldest weather any of us had ever fished open water! Despite the cold temps, the fishing was on fire! It was truly an amazing day of Winter fishing I will never forget.

It was truly hard to depict quite how cold and insane this fishing trip was. I've dealt with guides freezing often...I've never had rods/reels/line/baits frozen before I even used them, bullet weights frozen to line, fish frozen to my gloves, fog freezing to everything it touched; just a bizarre day.
