I convinced my friend Josh Wilson (brace yourselves - two Josh's) to come along for an adventure in Taiwan during spring break. Follow our travels through upcoming vlogs!
Our first stop was the Chiang Kai-shek memorial gardens. This massive area includes the Gate of Great Centrality and Perfect Uprightness, National Theater, National Concert Hall of Taiwan, and lastly the Chiang Kai-shek memorial building. Next we set off to explore the Ximending shopping district, complete with bubble tea and fried chicken!
Later in the afternoon we visited Taipei 101 and took the elevator to floor 89 which is the indoor observation floor - what incredible views! There is an outdoor observation deck on the 93rd floor and the tremendous mass damper is visible between these floors.
We spent the evening at Longshan Temple and ate our way through the nearby night market. Finally we met up with Tina at the Little London pub near the Sun Yat-sen memorial hall and ended a very productive day!
