We traveled to Santorini from Mykonos via a ferry. Don't let the term 'ferry' fool you. It's a quite large and comfortable boat as seen in the video. However, we realized that you really don't have to arrive earlier than your departure time. We didn't have any ticket checking or early boarding required. The ferry was also over an hour late. We asked around and realized that this is quite common! I was told that it is a beautiful ride that shouldn't be missed. Unfortunately though, the sea was rough that day, and I got very sea sick. So, I didn't really enjoy the ride. Slept off that 2.5 hours.
