Nainz shared with our Team & our Performers, that Out of all the Pacific Bands he knows, no other band has represented Pacific Music to the world, like Te Vaka has.
For this Tribute, we wanted to go BIG, and use our SUPA Kids to perform it, so Opetaia, his family and the Te Vaka Band, could experience what the World must experience watching & hearing them Perform especially through the Beautiful Music written for Disney's MOANA. The Music of Moana has made such a wonderful impact to our Pasefika People especially our Pasefika Children. It was only fitting for our young ones to perform this tribute.
This tribute doesn't depict all the Amazing Music that Opetaia has written, as there are definately ones that we would have loved to perform, but this was to celebrate the Music and the work he had written for Moana.
Our young people / performers & team will treasure this moment forever...Thank You Opetaia Foa'i for the MUSIC. A well deserved award .
