Bought this lovely old 1960 Super Tigre G20 2.5cc glow engine off of eBay for a few Pounds again, no one bid on the two engines as the photo on the auction was awful. Any way, gave it a little clean up, bearings were very good, compression was also very good, so this is the second run today. Once again, probably not run for decades, when I received it, it was covered in a thick layer of sawdust and dried on castor oil. Runs nicely, not even tweaked to run flat out. Prop was an old 8"x6" keilkraft nylon, fuel is straight glow fuel. Once again, the wife informed me it was quite loud when running, not bad for a 52 year old engine. Does anyone know why it has CARTER 20.01 cast into the crankcase?
