RNLI Shannon Class lifeboat based at Swanage. The only Shannon class lifeboat that is Slipway Launched. Pictured on the slipway after a call out to a person cut off by tide at Kimmeridge. spotted by a member of the public. The person later managed to swim round the headland to safety, the lifeboat was not needed.Plus footage of the boat launching on exercise the same day. D Class inshore lifeboat also seen. 11th July 2018.
