This quad was in return to home mode after I flew it out of range, (I must have forgot to setup the RSSI alerts for this model), I believe it lost signal because I was behind the house. I could have took control back over the quad, but I wanted to see if it would land by itself. As soon as it flew over the power lines it began to spin downward and landed on top of the power lines before hitting the ground. The result was a few broken motors, a broken arm with some stripped out screws and a severed Naza indicator light. The crash was caused by a broken wire in the motor. For some reason the quad turns clockwise when it has a heavy load, like when lifting these two big batteries. I am unsure as to why this happens, but have heard of other people having the same issue. This is a long duration quadcopter. I have now added a 1.2 FPV setup with the Mobius camera. The ESC’s seem to be staying pretty cool for being 20amp. The parts used in this build are as follows:
Frame: Talon v2 with extended arms to make it a Talon v2 750. Motor mount holes need to be drilled to fit the c-clip on the motors.
