A few days ago I set a new personal distance record with my TBS Discovery Quadcopter. As you can see from the video, I could fly a lot more, just decided to turn back home to be safe due to some unexpected failsafes, but anyway I'm sure that 6.5-7.5km range is achievable with this setup :)
