This may not seem that far to most, but this is about as far as I'm wanting to go out! I've mounted the immortal T on the GoPro mount so that it's vertical when flying straight. My link quality dropped to 96% a couple of times but when right back up to 99%. I would definitely recommend doing this if you plan on flying far out! The only problem would be how high your top plate is to allow enough room for the antenna not to touch the ground when landing and whatnot. Hope this help!
