West Virginia University’s Academic Innovation introduces its new Teaching and Learning Commons Sandbox on the ground floor of the Evansdale Library. The Sandbox is a research and development space for faculty, graduate students and staff to assess and test emerging learning technologies. The Teaching and Learning Commons exemplifies an evidence-based, scholarship approach that incorporates research, exploration, and innovation. This video features our Lightboard and green screen capabilities. The Lightboard enables faculty to write on the “board” without turning their backs to students in online or recorded video lectures.
