This is a quick lesson on Tennessee Flat Top Box I made for one of my students. I used a live Johnny Cash video to learn the tune. I'm capoed on the 2nd fret as were Johnny and his lead player Jim Solie. I've seen other's playing it out of a D formation, but I think the lead and the little hammer-on nuances sound better playing out of C and of course that's the way Cash played it, so you can't go wrong there. ***Note, to all the string name Nazis, get over it. It's just the way I count it, and I explain that. So, get over it.*** As always: Rescue Dogs Rule!
