In March 2009, I went to visit my relatives in the rural areas of Chao'an, a short distance from Shantou city. Many thanks to my dear friend Yeo's resourceful relatives who live in Anbu (庵埠), I was able to visit all three families in one day.
We visited my father's youngest brother, his eldest sister who is in her mid-eighties, and the family of my mother's elder brother.
I made this trip primarily to bring back photos and video clips of our relatives to show my mother.
May this 3-minute clip also bring delight to many Teochew-speaking old folks who reside in all parts of the world. :-))
