Something I like to do for my students who show up with used kit, is to test the gear myself. This allows me to find any nuances or safety issues that may come up for the student. In this case, one glider had a very unsafe brake line adjustment that could have ended badly had the trims been let out. Also, I fly thru my own wake while unloading the glider which resulted in a large deflation of an Ozone Kona. The wing handled it nicely. Modern gear is sooo awesome! I did a carburetor adjustment on a Moster 185 that was not running correctly, and got that sorted out.
