TESTED: Yonico vs Eagle America Router Bits
Have you ever wondered if the cheaper router bits are better than the expensive name brand bits? In this video, the lower price Yonico router bit is tested against its more expensive counterpart made by Eagle America. Which one is better?
The red oak board was jointed on one edge using a Jet JJ-6CSDX (708457DXK) Jointer with a Grizzly H7653 Spiral Cutterhead installed. Then the board was planed on both sides using a Makita 2012NB 12-Inch Planer to a final thickness of 13/16". The board was then ripped using a Dewalt DW745 10-Inch Compact Job-Site Table Saw to final width of 10".
The test was performed using the same router, set to the same speed, and each of the two passes were incremented identically.
Red Oak was used for the test piece, and both router bits were used on the same board.
