Testing the Walkera F210 with Dalprop triblade on 4S. Everything is stock setup except for the props.
This is purely a comparison between a tri-blade and dual-blade on the stock Walkera F210. I understand that one is not better than the other, it depends a lot of different factors so please don't comment on which is better or worst.
My take on the Dalprop T5045 compared to the stock F210 stock 5030 props.
Dalprop tri-blade:
Pros:
- Quicker
- Quieter
- More stable in hover, flight, and maneuvers
- More durable (tested by many including my own crashes)
- Comes in a ton more colors
- Cheaper
- Readily available (LHS or online)
- 20% longer run-time and efficiency
Cons:
- Require separate set of lock nuts to mount on motor
- Will not fit in original foam insert while mounted on quad
- Not really a con but may be to some, it sounds whinier
- 5 grams vs 4g for stock (insignificant for the thrust it generates)
My conclusion is that the triblades are superior to the stock blades. I will be flying these from now on just based on the efficiency factor alone. I highly recommend trying some new props, not just these particular ones, but props are cheap enough to buy several different ones to get a feel for your flying style and preference.
