Jasper Jordan has always been the funny guy, he was a living party, always trying to make everyone happy and trying to save everyone, since they landed everything and everyone kept threating them, since he came to the ground the world was against him, just when they were having fun the grounders threw a spear near his heart and put him as a bait, his friends saved him but people still wanted to kill him because of "the noises he made" when he was hurt and dying, they didn't care about him, but his friends were always beside him, helping him. Since then he had changed a little bit, he was afraid of the grounders but he still fought them to save his friends and suddenly became a hero.
His friends didn't always back him up, when he saved everyone and did these heroic things they still didn't believe in him at all, like the time when he shot those grounders, they didn't believe him when he said they were about to shoot THEM, or when they had to shoot the bomb at the bridge, they didn't trust him for that task, the only one who had always been there for Jasper was Monty, until the mountain man captured them and then he met Maya, she always believed in him and they were finally happy, no more grounders, no more war, they had food and fun... What could go wrong? Mount Weather turned out to be a hell instead of the safe place he thought it would be and it forced him to do terrible things and massacre people, he saw horrible things there, watched his friends die cruelly and to stop it, his own friends irradiated all of them alive including Maya, who died slowly and painfully in Jasper's arms, he felt betrayed by his friends, all these terrible things he lived on the ground, the things he did and saw on Mount Weather changed him and he couldn't trust anyone anymore, he was alone in all that pain and it was driving him crazy, he started drinking, crying, remembering, he fell into a big depression, he had PSTD, he couldn't overcome all these horrible things that happened to him and he couldn't bear the fact that his "friends" were just there walking around like everything was cool and nothing happened when he felt like shit, then things happened and he had to move on, he had to warn the others about the city of light and that meant he had to face friends and solve his problems, when they went to Luna's clan they found out it was safe and people were happy, it reminded Jasper of Mount Weather, when everything was cool and he met a girl that reminded him of Maya, he thought that maybe he could finally live a happy life there and get better but then everything got messed up again, Alie found them, people died, that place wasn't safe anymore and all his plans got ruined, he didn't care about anything anymore, he was broken, dead inside, so he took the chip and he was "finally happy" but then Clarke destroyed the city of light and he was back to real life, still dead inside, he didn't care about life anymore, but Monty was there, like always, he was always there for him, and he pushed him away but he still cared about him, his friends were there, Raven was there, smiling back at him for saving her life, he decided to give life one last chance, but then everything went "back to normal" and his friends were there, but he still felt alone, so he took a gun... And decided to put an end to his life... But when he was about to do it, Monty called him and Raven informed them that "the world was about to end" And he decided to "live till the end of his days" so he wouldn't have to suicide and he wouldn't have to worry about surviving neither, he decided to LIVE, be happy even when everything was a mess, he didn't worry about nothing, he 'accepted death as a friend' and ended up dying in Monty's arms... 'FEAR NOT DEATH, FOR IT IS ONLY THE BEGINING OF THE NEXT JOURNEY'
